pound cake recipe


COLD OVEN POUNDCAKE
-16 to 20 servings
2 sticks butter
1/2 Cup Crisco
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
3 cups plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsps. vanilla extract
1 1/2 tsps. lemon extract
1 cup milk

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar thoroughly, add eggs one at a time. Combine with flour, baking powder, milk and extracts. Pour into greased and floured 10 cup bundt pan.
Bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours.
ALWAYS START CAKE OUT IN COLD OVEN.






Double

32 to 40 servings

4 sticks of butter

2 cups of crisco

6 cups of sugar

12 eggs

6 cups of plain flour

2 bs of baking powder

3 tbs vanilla extract

3 ybs lemon extrat

2 cups of milk


Half

8 to 10 servings

1 sticks butter

1/4 cups crisco

1/2 cups sugar

3 eggs

1/5 cups plain flour

1/2 tbs baking powder


3/4 vanilla extract

3/4 lemon extract
